The 11th National Ceramic Biennale of Iran 2020

The livestream Opening Ceremony on Saturday October 31st at 16:00

Hirbod Hemmat Azad the curator of this series of the Ceramic Biennale explained that since we are during the third lockdown and restrictions of Corona virus in Tehran the opening ceremony will be performed livestream for everyone to participate.

He mentioned: I shall appreciate Iranian Ceramic Society for their support and participation in the event which belongs to them. We also apologize everyone because of the restrictions we are facing and going through. I believe that it is our duty to keep the art alive and active in the country while maintaining social distance and all the health protocols.

It is notable that in this biennale, there are 94 artworks from 87 artists chosen by the election council of this event.

The election council are: Mojtaba Shah Koochaki, Majid Ziaee, Bita Fayyazi, Mahmood Moharrami, Nafiseh Khalaj and Behzad Azhdari.
