Thirty Calligraphy
– Painting artworks by Alireza Rouholamini with Ashura themed poets, titles and prayers will be on view for the
public to visit from October 4 – 18, 2020 in the Gallery No. 1 of Niavaran
Cultural Center.
In an interview with Alireza Rouholamini, he mentioned
that “since there are not many calligraphy-painting artworks with Ashura theme,
I was very interested to perform an event with such a valuable content.” He
pointed out that “Imam Hussein (the holy), is the mirror of the beauty and
glory of God on Earth. Mirror is also reflector of the facts. That is the
reason of using so much mirror in the religious architecture of mosques and
shrines. Therefore, in this exhibition, three artworks will be inaugurated which
are created by combination of calligraphy and traditional mirrorwork.”
The Opening Ceremony will be on Friday October 4th
from 17:00 to 21:00 at the Persian Gulf Hall of Niavaran Cultural Center.
Visiting hours of this exhibition: 10:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and 14:00
to 19:00 on weekends and holidays at the Gallery No. 1 of Niavaran Cultural
Center.
This
program will be held under observation of all the health protocols of Corona
Virus Management Headquarters.
